First, look at the exterior of your house, or your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the outside of your house from a quick glance from the street. What do you notice first? What wonderful features seem hidden?
Understanding this assists us in determining what plan of action we can use to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with refreshed paint and blooming greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your home's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Can buyers envision themselves enjoying game night in your living room, relaxing in your reading nook or getting work done in your home office? I want your house to pleasantly accept buyers and give them a sense of comfort. I'll help you do this by suggesting changes that enhance the features of your house.
I'll advise you reduce the effect of items that give the impression of clutter. Table and counter tops should be neatly arranged. Arts and crafts, souvenirs, family photos, and play time works of art should get stored away too. You need to "de-personalize" the house so buyers can see it as their new home.
I know exactly where a room's best characteristics are and how to highlight them. Improvements that directly affect your bottom line include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should get removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need washing
I'll make sure that your home is appealing and that it's welcoming, steering clear of "loud" or "can't-work-with" colors on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can consider temporary furnishings. The goal is for your home to look ready to live in as opposed to vacated.

Setting the Stage
At every showing, we want to engage the buyer's senses.
Brightening up your interior is critical, so we'll do things like part the curtains and create light where needed to welcome the buyer. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests take a walk-through of your home and ensure a pleasing aroma flows from every area. We'll incorporate cozy-looking bedspreads, and pillows on your couch and bedding. Buyers should feel like your home has the potential to be.
